Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man and The Pool

Mike Birbiglia is a sublime storyteller who was enthralling throughout the 80 minutes of his opening night in London. Through emotional highs and lows and a mastery of the mechanics of comedy, he was a congenial host and purveyor of considerable laughter. The set production was beautiful in its simplicity and effective in adapting to accentuate the story through lighting and LED backdrop changes. An astonishing and hilarious show.
