Comedy in a Nutshell

In this podcast I ask the big questions, What is comedy? Who is it, and why is it? To help me I’ve enlisted the help of comedians, performers, promoters, and fans like myself, to discuss what comedy means to them, and to sum all their experience up in a nutshell.

Please remember to like, subscribe, rate, review and share. Thank you!

Love this show. Learning about the structure of comedy from an inside perspective and the divergencies in conversation is fascinating. Looking at comedy and life from different points of view is something more people should do. Can’t wait to hear more!

Was stirring and emotional for me. Mark is a [subtle] facilitator and allows the interviewee to speak freely. The comedians are immensely sensitive to the difficulties of living while simultaneously seeing the redemptive pause.

Lovely podcast balancing humour with insight. Mark and his guests dive into where comics get their art, how it still plays a part and all in all what gives comedy its heart.

Love this podcast, it gives you a real insight into the inner workings of a creative person’s mind, and just how comedians found their way into comedy. I often drive slower just so I can finish the episode.
