Bella Humphries is a British stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for warm, candid storytelling that blends personal experiences with sharp observational humour. Originally from Swindon and now based in Wales, she written and presented the BBC Radio Wales programme Bleeding Hell. Her debut Fringe show, Square Peg (2024), drew on her experiences of living with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) combining honest, often deeply personal material with an engaging, likeable stage presence.

Humphries is a vibrant, youthful comedian who brings an incredible amount of energy and passion to the stage. Her humour is observational and personal, from her experiences living in rural Wales to living with PMDD. She tackles the subject of PMDD with both honesty and humour, sharing the challenges of dealing with this condition with raw, authentic emotion while creating a space for empathy and understanding. The audience laughed at the absurdities of small-town life, but they also gained a deeper insight into what it’s like to live with PMDD.
