Luca Cupani is an Italian-born, British-Italian stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for dry, intelligent observational comedy that blends British wit with reflections on Italian culture, religion, family life, and personal anxieties. He won So You Think You’re Funny? at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015—the first Italian comedian to do so. Cupani’s comedy draws on his experiences as an immigrant, practising Catholic, and self-described hypochondriac, combining thoughtful storytelling with understated humour.
