Consignia are a British alternative comedy collective known for their anarchic, surreal and defiantly unconventional approach to live performance. Blending absurdist humour and experimental sketches, the group delight in dismantling the expectations of traditional comedy, embracing the bizarre, the uncomfortable and the gloriously ridiculous. Whether staging elaborate conceptual performances or celebrating the wonderfully obscure, they remain a distinctive force in the UK alternative comedy scene, where convention is less a rule to follow than something to gleefully tear apart.
