Lawrence Dodd: This Can’t Be It (WIP)

This was an unclassifiable hour of semi-improvised clowning and existential comedy, centered on one man’s desperate attempt to make sense of life. Dodd fully commits, embodying a hype-man, vulnerable Yorkshireman, shamanic guru, and confused everyman, while rapping, meditating, chanting, and directly involving the audience. The result is a strange, intimate, and participatory experience, focused on uncertainty and connection.
